We hope that you are all keeping safe and well in these difficult times. We can confirm that we have heard back from R&T Tours about the Woolacombe Tour and that they have confirmed that they will be issuing Meadow with a refund of the monies paid to them, less the non-refundable deposit. They will then issue a Refund Credit Note to the value of the deposits, which can be used by Meadow for any Tour in the next 24 months (2021 and 2022 season).
In view of this Meadow are happy to refund everyone back the full amount they paid (including the deposits) and then we as a Club will use the deposit money within the next two seasons. Obviously we are disappointed not to be going to Woolacombe, especially after all the hard work put into organising the Tour, but in view of the current situation feel that this is the best outcome. Unfortunately it’s unlikely that any Tours will be taking place in 2020, particularly before September.
Can we ask you to please bear with us during the next couple of weeks, as we need to wait until we have received the refund from R&T before we can refund your payments. There will then be some administrative work to do, chiefly by myself, but I will try to contact everyone as quickly as possible to organise your refund as we appreciate that these are difficult times financially for everyone.
We are really looking forward to the time when grassroots football can return and we can see you all again.
