Weekly Roundup 17th November

Hi all

Thanks for sending through your results on Sunday, apologies for the late response. As my team had the week off I had the chance to watch a few games at home, but I started with the U7s Youth team playing against Woking Town away and it was great to see them all enjoying themselves in an action packed game, especially the last 15 minutes!

Back at Meadow I caught up with the U12 Youth who after going 0-2 down, came back to win 3-2. The boys didn’t give up and got their reward. The U14 Sports also had a great game and a well deserved win. Well done to Paul’s U9s Youth who put on a great team performance after going down in the first half. The U8s Youth also had a great game, well done Chola for setting the team challenges. Unlucky to the U18 Girls who only started with 10 players and then had to go down to 9 in the second half, due to work commitments. The girls really put the effort in.

Congratulations to the U15s in their Cup win away to GPR. 👏👏👏

Thanks to those who have sent team photos and other photos, it is great to see them all. We will endeavour to get all the updated team photos onto our teams page soon.

Christmas Party tickets are now on sale on our website, on this link; https://www.meadowsportsfc.com/event-info/meadow-childrens-christmas-party Volunteers are needed, especially from the U7s, U8s, U9s and U10s. Please contact the party organiser Roshelle on Roshelle.evans@icloud.com if you can help - these events don’t happen without volunteers!

Thank you to the U14 Girls for setting up and to Steve for locking up.

Enjoy the rest of your week. Next weekend sees the FA Silent Weekend, we will be asking all teams to support this at Meadow.

All the best Karl
